Deep within the earth is a gem known as amethyst. The collection highlights this stunning February birthstone. Amethyst is a variety of quartz found mainly in Brazil and Uruguay. The purple color is formed when trace amounts of iron seep into the growing quartz crystal.
Pure copper is textured and fold formed to create the cuff. Sterling silver is fused into the copper to create this one of a kind bracelet. Copper is treated to maintain the finish and inhibit oxidation. The heat treatment gives this cuff a reddish tone. Beautiful! Two gemstones adorn this cuff. A teardrop shaped amethyst gem and a 5mm faceted to complement it.
